On May 26 and 27 we celebrated the project’s finalization with SuLaMo 2025: The first international conference on sustainable land and water management on Morocco.

With more than 60 presentations (oral and poster) and more than 200 attendees over 2 days, the conference served as a sharing pattform for scientists and researchers from Morocco an Germany on three main topics:

• Track 1:
  • Sustainable water management practices in agriculture  
  • Sustainable land and crop management practices in agriculture 
• Track 2:
  • Social, economic and technology transfer of land and water use and management
  • Remote sensing, GIS, and engineering techniques for land and water management
• Track 3:
  • Water treatment and desalination in agriculture
  • Innovative technologies and solutions for smart irrigation & water management 

The conference took place at the National School of Agriculture in Meknes, Morocco including a visit to the SuLaMo trial fields.
